This site has been developed for anyone with an interest in the curriculum area of ‘Visual Performing Arts & Media’. The need for this site emerged from a Tutor Training Event, it was identified through discussion that the website could work as a tool. It would enable as many people as possible to network, share good working practices and cascade information to enhance the teaching and learning process. Its aim is to maintain support and assist WEA Tutors, Additional Learning Support Workers and Volunteers. We organise tutor training events and arrange one to one meetings with individual tutors as requested. We also visit and observe classes and liaise with tutors to exhibit learners work and celebrate their achievements. WEA North East Region offer both accredited and non-accredited provision in this area of learning. We can offer Information, Advice & Guidance for appropriate progression routes through National awarding bodies. For more information contact Donna or Susan, details are attached
